1. Introduction
Welcome to Soma (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Boda provides massage therapy and soft tissue mobilization for relaxation, stress reduction, and pain management.
- Not Medical Advice: Our treatments are not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a physician, chiropractor, or physiotherapist. We do not diagnose illness, prescribe medication, or perform spinal manipulations.
- Consult Your Doctor: You should consult a medical professional for any physical ailments you may have.
- Client Responsibility: It is your responsibility to keep the therapist updated on your health history, injuries, surgeries, or medications, as these may affect your treatment.
3. Booking & Cancellations
We value your time and ours. To ensure efficient scheduling for all clients, the following policies apply:
- Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% (or 100%) of the scheduled service price.
- No-Shows: Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice (“No-Show”) will result in a charge of 100% of the service fee.
- Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate the next client. You will still be responsible for the full payment of the scheduled session.
4. Health & Contraindications
For your safety and the safety of our staff:
- Contagious Conditions: Please do not visit the studio if you have a fever, cold, flu, or contagious skin infection (e.g., warts, ringworm). We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it may pose a health risk.
- Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, you must inform us prior to the session so we can ensure safe and appropriate positioning and techniques.
5. Code of Conduct (Zero Tolerance)
Boda operates a strictly professional therapeutic practice.
- Inappropriate Behavior: Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks, advances, or behavior towards the therapist will result in the immediate termination of the session.
- Consequences: The client will be liable for the full payment of the scheduled service, and will be banned from future appointments. Law enforcement may be notified if necessary.
6. Payments & Pricing
- Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Credit Cards, and Quick Pay. Payment is due at the time of service unless prepaid online.
- Pricing: Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored.
7. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items brought into the studio. Please keep valuable items with you or leave them at home.
8. Limitation of Liability
By using our services, you agree that Boda and its therapists shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or claims resulting from your use of our services, provided that the services were performed in accordance with standard professional guidelines. You acknowledge the inherent risks associated with soft tissue therapy (e.g., temporary soreness, bruising from IASTM) and voluntarily assume these risks.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
